Nokia goes into mini-laptops
Nokia, better known for its mobile phones, announced yesterday the upcoming release of a mini-laptop computer (the size of an Asus eeePC) with a 10 inches screen and dimensions of 26x18x2 cm.
The product, named Booklet 3G, contains WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and (as its name indicates) 3G modules.

The processor is a 1.6 GHz Atom Z530, the autonomy will be 12 hours and the machine will be installed under Windows, unfortunately. But we don't know more details, until September 2 where Nokia will announce more things, including the price.
This format is a première for the Finnish firm. Nokia has already created ultraportable notebooks made for the Internet (MID) with the excellent web tablets N770, N800 and N810. These models worked with a specially adapted Linux, Maemo.
